The BauloTM Epoxy is a neutrally coated fused silica capillary with hydrophilic surface for the separation of proteins, peptides, amino acids and other compounds. Especially, Baulo Epoxy can be used for the separation of basic proteins in low ionic strength buffers at neutral pH (Fig. 1). Baulo Epoxy is manufactured by coating the surface with a layer of epoxy followed by crosslinking the epoxy groups together. This hydrophilic surface significantly reduces the electro-osmotic flow (EOF)[1]. But, the residual EOF at pH 7 allows the separation of proteins with pI < 7 (Fig. 2).

BauloTM amine coated capillary is a positively charged capillary which can reduce or even reverse the EOF of buffer inside the capillary depending on the pH. It can be used for protein separation as well as for many other applications.

The BauloTM Positive-01 is a positively coated fused silica capillary for the separation of proteins, peptides, amino acids and other compounds. Baulo Positive-01 is specifically suited for the separation of proteins at low pH under reversed potential (Fig. 3).Baulo Positive-01 is manufactured, using a proprietary technology, by coating the surface with covalently bonded polyethylene amine (PEI), which is also crosslinked to enhance its stability on the surface. (Fig. 4).
